Total Wireless Launches New Unlimited Plans With Disney+ and International Roaming

Total Wireless is rolling out a major refresh of its unlimited phone plans, adding new perks like Disney+, international roaming, and cloud storage as competition in the prepaid wireless market continues heating up.

The Verizon-owned carrier announced four redesigned unlimited plans that will officially launch on May 13, targeting customers looking for lower-cost alternatives to traditional postpaid carriers without giving up premium features.

The updated lineup ranges from budget-focused starter options to higher-end plans aimed at heavy data users and international travelers.

One of the biggest additions is the inclusion of Disney+ access on select plans, a move that mirrors how larger wireless providers are increasingly bundling entertainment subscriptions into mobile packages.

The company is also emphasizing long-term pricing stability, saying the new plans include a five-year price guarantee with taxes and fees already included.

That could appeal to customers frustrated by rising wireless bills and surprise charges.

The entry-level “Total Starter” plan begins at $35 per month with auto pay and includes unlimited talk, text, 5G data, hotspot access, and international calling to dozens of countries.

At the higher end, the new “Total All Access” plan costs $60 per month and adds features like:

unlimited premium 5G data,

faster hotspot speeds,

roaming in more than 140 countries,

Disney+ included,

and up to 1 TB of cloud storage.

Total Wireless is also expanding its “Bring Your Own Phone” strategy with a lower-priced premium plan designed for customers who already own unlocked devices.

The company says all plans run on Verizon’s 5G network, including access to faster Ultra-Wideband coverage in supported areas.

The announcement reflects a larger shift happening across the U.S. wireless industry.

Prepaid carriers are no longer competing only on price. Instead, companies are increasingly adding premium streaming perks, international features, and cloud services that were once limited to expensive flagship plans from major carriers.

As wireless growth slows across the industry, companies are pushing harder to attract users through bundled ecosystems and subscription-style benefits.

For consumers, that means cheaper carriers are beginning to look more like traditional premium wireless brands, especially as 5G coverage expands nationwide.

The new plans arrive as Verizon continues strengthening its portfolio of prepaid brands, which includes Total Wireless, Visible, Straight Talk, Tracfone, and other low-cost carriers competing for budget-conscious customers across the U.S.

Total Wireless says the redesigned plans will become available nationwide beginning May 13.
